Kumundhoo School was established on March 2, 1948, marking a significant moment in the history of Kumundhoo. The school transitioned from a community institution to a government school in 2005 and was upgraded to a secondary school that same year, with English becoming the medium of instruction at all levels. Currently, it offers education from foundation stage to Key Stage 4. The school aims to meet the educational and cultural aspirations of the community while striving for excellence and leadership.
