Maafaru School is a government School teaching from grade 1 to 10. It was established in 1966 as “Makthabul Iruthigaau”. In 1992 the School’s name was changed to Maafaru School. The medium of instruction was changed to English Language in the year 2000. School was changed to a government school on 2005.
To produce a generation with good self-esteem that respect others and be faithful to the country and religion, respect rules and regulations, develop own mother tongue, customs and traditions, creative and responsible.
