The school was built on May 17, 1995 by the then Education Minister Dr. Mohamed Latheef and built as 'Hulhudhuffaaru School', where many students are studying under it. In 1995, it started as a school for classes 1 to 7, but now it caters to secondary and higher secondary (classes 1 to 12), to two streams (science and commerce stream).
Our vision is to become the best higher secondary school in the North Central Province whose highly knowledgeable and skillful graduates are adequate Maldivians who are contributing members of the Islamic Maldivian Society and who are shaped to face the diverse challenges of the world, and who lives a dignified life, supports his own family, works for the development of his own island and the nation.
Our mission is to empower the students with quality education and high standard of intellectual capability through a holistic education system.
