The school, known as Kendhoo School, was registered as a public school on March 30, 1977 and commenced official classes on May 11, 1977.
To provide fully-fledged education to every individual of the island and each and every student should be religious minded and to mold them out as socially acceptable, obedient and duty conscious citizens.
To provide good primary middle school and secondary education to every individual of the island and to mold them as socially accepted citizens by making the parents understand that it is done, not only in accordance with a good religious and moral conduct but also with obedience and duty consciousness that help them to perform their assigned responsibilities and the duties confidently and faithfully, and to uphold the countries heritage and cultural values.
