Established in 1976 as ""Dhangethi Maktab,"" the school was renamed ""Dhangethi Madharusa"" on September 11, 1986. In 2016, it was further renamed ""Dhangethi School."" Currently, Dhangethi School provides education from foundation stages (LKG and UKG) through key stage grades 1 to 10, all within a single session. The curriculum covers combined stream along with dedicated literacy and numeracy activities to support a comprehensive learning experience.
