School Introduction

Veymandoo School has been proven to have been teaching since 1949 and was registered on August 19, 1974, as ""Maktab-ul-Hidaya"" under the responsibility of Mr. Ahmed Hossain Deedi, President of the Thaa Atoll Committee. On July 24, 1979, the school was renamed Veymandoo Primary School. On July 8, 1980, the school was renamed Thaa Atoll Primary School. and again, the school was renamed Thaa Atoll Madrassa on April 11, 1981. The present name was changed to ""Veymandoo School"" on April 1, 1985.
