The school grew rapidly over the years, both in terms of staff and student population, reflecting the increasing educational needs of the region. The rebranding in 1984 to Gaafu Alifu Atholhu Thauleemee Marukaz marked a new phase in its development, expanding its role in the region’s educational landscape. As of today, the school stands as an important educational institution in Gaafu Alifu Atoll, with a staff of 95 and a student body of 665 spread across 37 classrooms. This transformation underscores the commitment to providing quality education to the people of Gaafu Alifu Atoll, adapting to the growing demands of a modern educational system while continuing to serve as a cornerstone of the local community’s development.
