Thaajuddeen School belongs to the famous historian Hassan Thaajuddeen. The school was opened on 7 February 1989 by the President Uz. Maumoon Abdul Gayoom . The school was initially named as Thaajuddeen Primary School. However, on 1 January 1990, the name was changed to Thaajuddeen School. In 2002, the school started secondary education. After this, a new building of Thaajuddeen School was constructed in 2004 with the free assistance of the Government of Japan. In 2010, Thaajuddeen School became a secondary school.
