Elibility criteria and other information for A Level Admission 2026.
1. Age

Students applying for admission to Grade 11 should be at the age of 16 and should not exceed 17 years of age as at 31st December 2025.

Students who completed Grade 10 in February/March 2026 and meet the admission criteria will be given the opportunity for admission in Grade 11, even if they are below 16 years of age.

In addition to students who do not meet the age requirement stated above, students who have completed Grade 10 and meet the admission criteria for Grade 11, and are below 18 years of age, will also be given the opportunity for admission to Grade 11.
2. Academic Requirements for Admission to Higher Secondary

Admission to Grade 11 will be granted based on the results achieved in SSC, GCE O-Level, IGCSE, and BTEC during the past two years.

Students applying for Grade 11 must fulfil at least one of the criteria stated in the circular "Admission of Students to Key Stage 5 in Government Schools", Circular Number: 22-E/CIR/2025/12.
3. Placement and Registration

Schools will inform guardians about placements from 25 May 2026 onwards.

Schools that have allocated placements will send the details of registration procedures to the guardian's email address.
