A special National Trade Testing Certification (NTTC) workshop, organized collaboratively by Maldives Polytechnic and the Department of Inclusive Education, has been launched to enhance the capabilities of teachers delivering skill-based programs.

Implemented under the Thaiba Initiative as part of STG Activity 1.4.3, the program aims to provide technical assistance to Inclusive Skills Hubs established across the Maldives. Thirty-five teachers are participating in this week-long workshop.

The workshop is aligned with the National Trade Testing Certification (NTTC) issued by the Maldives National Skills Development Authority (MNSDA) and is designed to strengthen the professional competencies of vocational education teachers, enabling them to equip students with essential workplace skills.

The workshop was inaugurated by the Minister of State for Education, Dr. Ahmed Mohamed.
