Lh. Atoll Education Center was established on March 10, 1984, with approximately 200 students and 9 staff members, including the headmaster. Since then, the school has grown significantly, evolving from a Dhivehi medium to an English medium institution. It now serves over 500 students and employs more than 70 staff members, becoming a center for Cambridge O Level and Edexcel A Level examinations. Recognized as one of the nation's most prestigious educational institutions, the school aims to implement the National Curriculum, promoting academic excellence alongside Islamic values. It also emphasizes extracurricular activities and collaboration with parents and the community to achieve the goals of the National Curriculum.
