Formal education was established in Thoddoo on 26th November 1967 under the name of “Makthb-al-Mubaarak. In 1981, the name of Maktab-ul-Mubarak was changed to Thoddoo Maktab. After 11 years on June 17, 1992, the name of Thoddoo Maktab was changed to Thoddoo Madrassa. On 23 April 2005, the name of the school was reformed to ""Thoddoo School"" Thoddoo School is governed by the Ministry of Education. The school caters for students from the foundation stage to key stage 5. Thoddoo School begins GCE O level in 2005. Thoddoo School Started A ‘level in 2023. Currently, 430 students are studying at Thoddoo School. The medium of instruction is English. Thoddoo School follows the national curriculum and teaches for the Cambridge IGCSE Examination. As per the school mission: Thoddoo school aims to make all students practicing Islam, loyal to the nation and competent in knowledge and wisdom. Thoddoo School empowers students to maximize their learning opportunities and enables students to develop their full potential through a wide range of educational practices.
