School Introduction

Dh.Maaenboodhoo has been providing education for many centuries. I would like to take this opportunity to mention that education has been provided under different names. The school was established on 23 October. There were 2 teachers when the school started. The school was run by the island authorities as a people's school. When teaching started, there were 5 classes for grades 1 to and it is called special class. The school now offers education from foundation to grade 10. The school teaches all the subjects mentioned in the national curriculum. Please also note that Key stage 4 students are studying a combined stream ( Biology, Chemistry, Economics and Accounting ). And B.Tech Hospitality is also offered as a stream. The school is now a single session school.
