School Introduction

Introduction to Hamad School Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani School is a Maldivian Government school. The school presently caters to students of Foundation, Primary,middle school, secondary, and higher secondary grades. Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani School was a donation by the Khalifa of Qatar. The school is formerly known as QATAR AMEER SCHOOL, and later renamed as Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani School, but commonly referred to as Hamad School. The school was opened on 15th February 1998 and until 2010 was a secondary school with classes from Grade 6 to Grade 10. On 13 June 2010, the school reached another milestone by commencing Higher Secondary Classes (Grade11). And in the year 2015 school introduced primary grades and with the begging of 2017 academic year school started to cater foundation stage as well. The school offers Science and Business streams in secondary and Science and Business streams in higher secondary.
