Hafiz Ahmed School is inaugurated on 22nd April May 2004, as a primary school from Grade 1 to 7. The school is a government-run public school located in Fuvahmulah City, Southern region of the Republic of Maldives. Hafiz Ahmed School. The name Hafiz Ahmed refers to a famous scholar of Fuvahmulah City, Al Hafiz Ahmed or Dhoonigam Edhuru kaleygefaan. In the year 2015, foundation stage started and school was re-branded as a secondary school in the year 2019. The school also provides education for students with special needs and has a specialized unit called “Rainbow Unit” offering various programs for special need students. With a student population of over 500 form Foundation Stage to Key stage 4, and with a teaching staff population of over 70, Hafiz Ahmed School is one of the leading educational institutions in the Maldives.
