The fifth and final session of the High Achievers’ Awards 2024 was held at the Social Centre, with the President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu attending as the Chief Guest.

During this session, awards were presented to 449 students who secured Top 10 positions in the 2024 Higher Secondary Examinations. In addition, students who received the High Achievers’ Scholarship letters and the President’s Scholarship awards were also honored. The ceremony also recognized students who achieved world rankings in specific subjects and those who received Top in the Maldives awards.

Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Dr. Ismail Shafeeu emphasized the importance of higher secondary education and noted that efforts are underway to expand capacity to enable more students to pursue A-Level studies.

The High Achievers' Awards 2024 was organized into five sessions, celebrating a total of nearly 1,800 students for their exceptional academic achievements in the 2023 and 2024 O’Level and A’Level examinations.
