School Introduction

ADH. Atoll school located in Adh. Maamigili was established on February 26, 1991. The school was previously known as Maamigili school which was established on 27th June 1970 was changed to Adh.Atoll School. Adh. Atoll School was opened with one office building and Hall which was used as 4 classrooms. However, with the help of hon. Gasim Ibrahim, 8 additional classrooms were built in 1993. Since the commencement of the school in 1993 this school was a Dhivehi medium primary school with grades 1-7 until 1997. The medium of study was changed to English in 1997 with the introduction of secondary grades in 1997. Since the establishment, the school’s dynamic educational environment has continued to evolve and grow over the years. The year 2000 was marked as an important year for the school as the students got the opportunity to sit in GCE O'Level for the first time.
