School Introduction

The school was registered on 1st May 1982 and initially operated under the name Madhrasathul Sulthan Mohamed by the island office. The foundation for the school building was laid on 5th April 1985, and it officially opened on 12th December 1991. It became a government school in 2007. On 17th September 2017, the school's name was changed to Sulthan Mohamed School to honor the king of Dhevvadhoo and preserve his legacy.

Sulthan Mohamed School is dedicated to promote all the children to observe Islamic religion, trust the education we provide and allow all the students to get higher ranks and persuade them to involve with parents to decide their future and to obey the school’s and country’s rules and regulations to serve the country honestly.
