Minister Dr Ismail Shafeeu met with the students participating in the "China Youth Exchange Program 2025" in China.

This program will take place from September 9, 2025 to September 12, 2025 in Sichuan Province, China.

A total of 12 students from 11 schools are participating in this program. This includes 6 female students and 6 male students.

During this program, students will have the opportunity to visit Chengdu Primary School, Sanxingdui Museum, and the Dujiangyan Research Center for Giant Pandas. They will also have the opportunity to experience a variety of Chinese cultural activities. .

By participating in this program, students will gain in-depth knowledge of Chinese culture and history while also having the opportunity to showcase Maldivian culture. Programs like this further strengthen the long-standing and close relationship between the Maldives and China.
