A workshop has been convened to finalize the structure of the third ICT in Education Master Plan, which aligns with the Maldives’ national priorities, the education sector plan, and the national ICT strategy, with a focus on lifelong learning. 

The opening ceremony of this workshop was attended by State Minister Dr. Abdul Latheed Mohamed as the chief guest of the ceremony.

Key officials, teachers, and principals from the MP2 review meeting are collaborating to refine the Master Plan’s components, including its vision, policy goals, and related programs. The workshop's objectives include building policy development capacity for education policymakers, developing the foundational components of the Master Plan, and fostering multi-stakeholder discussions across ministries.
By the end of the workshop, participants are expected to have outlined the structure of the Master Plan, identified key projects, and created a work plan for implementation leading up to its launch. The initiative aims to enhance the sustainability and impact of ICT in education for the long term.
