The Minister of Education, Dr. Ismail Shafeeu, has revealed that 802 classrooms have been air-conditioned so far under the government's 'Cool School Project'. A total of 3,740 classrooms are planned to be air-conditioned under this project.
 
 Speaking at a session of the People's Majlis held today, the Minister said, "We are currently working on sending air conditioners in bulk to schools within this month. God willing, before the end of this year, we will complete air-conditioning all classrooms where students study in schools."
 
 The Minister noted that this project was first announced in June last year, and at that time, it was planned to complete the project within 2 years. However, due to the positive response received from schools, students, and parents for this project and their request to expedite it, the President has instructed to complete the project within this year, the Minister also revealed."
