President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu and First Lady Madam Saajidha Mohamed attended the Children’s Day 2025 festivities held at Hulhumalé Central Park, as part of the first nationwide Children’s Day celebration organized by the Ministry of Education.

The President and First Lady were warmly received by senior Ministry of Education officials and school principals upon their arrival. 

A highlight of the event was a special presentation where students offered a gift to the President. They toured various stalls set up for the occasion and enjoyed a lively stage performance by students. 

This year’s Children’s Day was marked with colourful events across the country, led by schools with the goal of creating joyful, educational experiences for children and their families through games, performances, and other engaging activities.
