Minister of Education Dr. Ismail Shafeeu met with the Singapore High Commissioner H.E Soo Kok Leng today. The meeting was held at the Ministry of Education.
During the meeting, discussions were held on ways to further strengthen the educational ties established between the Maldives and Singapore. The importance of the assistance provided by Singapore for the development of the Maldives' education sector was also highlighted.
Additionally, ideas were exchanged regarding expanding educational opportunities for students from both countries and increasing training programs to enhance teacher quality.
