The construction of a new building and infrastructure development in Hanimaadhoo School has been awarded to Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation.

The agreement was signed during a special ceremony held as part of President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s visit to meet with the people of Hanimaadhoo, in his ongoing visit to Haa Dhaalu Atoll.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Education by Minister of State for Education Hussain Saeed Mohamed, while Deputy Managing Director Ibrahim Razzan signed on behalf of FDC.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu said that the school project will be carried out to accommodate both Hanimaadhoo students and Hirimaradhoo students, who will be relocated to Hanimaadhoo.

Under this project, facilities such as a multipurpose hall, 4 classrooms, science lab, staffroom, and a library will be developed.
