A two-day workshop on "Effective Supervision and Subject Improvement Plan" was successfully conducted at ADh Dangethi School, focusing on leading teachers. Held on January 18 and 19, the event was organized in collaboration with the National Institute of Education and facilitated by Dr. Balasandran A. Ramiah.
A total of 42 participants, including principals and leading teachers from various schools, attended the session. The workshop was inaugurated by Mr. Shifaz Mohamed, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education.
The workshop primarily focused on school improvement plans, effective supervision and follow-up measures, supervisory behavior, goal setting and peer coaching, identifying development and clinical supervision, and interpersonal approaches to supervision.
Participants described the sessions on strategic planning, professional development, and supervision as transformative. They gained a deeper understanding of the importance of developing a clear vision, mission, and core principles for their schools. The workshop also provided practical insights into creating future plans and improving the effectiveness of supervision, enabling participants to reimagine their school’s direction and growth.
The closing ceremony was graced by the Vice President of the Dhangethi Council, adding to the significance of the event
